MVNU stands for Mount Vernon Nazarene University. In the end of summer of 2007 MVNU's Student Government commisioned me to do a poster and a postcard for their Opening Week. This was their first time commissioning design work to someone outside their student body, and it was an honor for me.

The concept for this poster is to make something that looks modern, futuristic, and would show a sense of new beginning, without looking tacky. The design was born out of my creative exploration to try something new. The 3D effect that I tried to achieve was inspired by countless of design video reels that I had watched during the summer before while interning at Relevant.
