Care for AIDS is a non-profit organization based in Atlanta, GA, that has been working really hard, in partnership with the local government and churches, to provide care and medication for people with HIV/AIDS down in the Sub-Saharan African countries.

According to their site, one person dies of HIV/AIDS every 16 seconds in the Sub-Sahara African countries. If that is not hard enough reality to bite on, HIV/AIDS is something that Africans think as a curse to a person, his family, and also to his community. This leads to the ostracism of the afflicted, and this means that the chance for him to get a treatment or care is slim to none. This is where an organization like Care for AIDS is much needed to take care of people with HIV/AIDS, provide them with physical and spiritual aids, and educate the community about the disease. "All of this effort should open the door for a widespread acceptance and understanding of those who are currently being ostracized due to their affliction," as it stated on their website.

These t-shirts that I designed for them is a part of their fund-raising effort, and I am honored that in a small way I could help this organization to thrive.
