This motion piece is the fruit from my collaboration with a local marketing agency, ShoutOut. The video is supposed to be a supplement to the 2009 Annual Reports that they designed. Both of the video and the Annual Reports were presented to the Region 2000 partners during the 2009 Virginia's Region 2000 Partnership Breakfast.

The concept of the video is quite simple. We tried to highlight some of the uniqueness of the region that would appeal new investors and new business owners to come and start their businesses in the region. We also tried to highlight some of the impressive achievements that have been reached in the past year so that it would create a sense of security and peace of mind for the existing investors and business owners.

The whole process of this project is very smooth. I loved every minute of it. Our client loves the end product, and it gives them more exposure throughout the region and the state. It also successfully gives ShoutOut more exposure to the businesses on the area.

Last but not least, I would like to thank my dear friend, and also a great photographer, Oliver Sherret for letting me borrow and use his computer for a couple of weeks for this project. This video will not ever be realized without his kindness. Here is the story, so during the early production process of this project my laptop, my lovely MacBook Pro, suddenly died and left me without any computer to work on. Thank goodness Oliver came to me and offered to bring his computer to my place so that I could have a full use of it, anytime I wanted to, for about two weeks. So once again, thank you very much Oliver.
